Permits and Approvals

Although the installation of floating docks and breakwaters is typically much easier to have approve then fixed structures, you should still consult the appropriate agencies and obtain the required permits. The following links will take you to some of the agencies typically involved with a floating dock project, but is not intended to be exhaustive. In addition to the agencies shown below, you should also consult your local municipality to determine what local permits may be required.
